is a completely online mode of sending money from US to
Nepal, brought to you by Thamel.com. in association with
Everest Express, Australia.

- Register with Everest Express and obtain RTRN ID and Everest Express Bank Details we have with Common Wealth Bank.
- Log on to your Local Internet Banking service and make an electronic transfer to Everest Express Account. Include the Transfer amount and Transfer Fee.
- We will send you final notification once the funds are credited to our account
- 12 hrs after receiving the funds your receiver will receive the funds in Nepal

9. What are the different delivery modes offered by Everest Express®?
Money sent by you can be delivered in 3 distinct ways:
- Cash Collection - is for recipient who can visit
our office locations* or partner bank premises* inside and
outside Kathmandu valley to collect the fund directly against
the valid government issued Identity Card, Passport, Driving
License or Voter Card with Authentication Code. There is no
charge or bank fee involved in this mode of delivery and the recipient
does not necessarily have a bank account with him for this
mode of delivery.

Delivery Time: Instant
- Bank Deposits - is for recipient who has valid Bank Account with the
corresponding
banks in our network.
There is no charge or bank fee involved in this mode for
our network within Kathmandu Valley.
However, there is a direct bank processing fee for bank
deposit to recipient's account outside Kathmandu Valley as
per the corresponding bank's rules and regulations. Such fee
is directly deducted from the beneficiary amount as a Bank
Processing Fee. The
bank account and number must be valid and verified in advance.
Delivery Time: 5 - 15 minutes
- Pay Order (Outside Kathmandu Valley only)- is for recipient who does
not have a bank
account outside Kathmandu Valley. The recipient has to
visit our office locations* or corresponding bank premises*
to collect the fund directly against the valid government
issued Identity Card, Passport, Driving License or Voter
Card with Authentication Code. The bank processing fee
for Pay Order is directly deducted from the beneficiary
amount.

10. How long does it take for the beneficiary to receive
money?
The beneficiary is informed about the money order on the
business day of the transaction and will be delivered within
24 hrs once the fund is credited to our account in Australia. The local delivery
modes we have enable us to deliver fund in Nepal –
Instantly, 5-15 minutes or within 1-2 days.

11. What is the Remittance Transaction Reference Number or
RTRN?
The Remittance Reference Number or RTRN is the unique
number displayed on your screen at the time of booking your
remittance. Consider it the root of your transaction.
- You get to know the exact status of your transfer by
simply clicking on your RTRN on our Online Tracker
- If you are writing an email to us, you need to quote
your RTRN.

12. How are you informed of your transaction status?
Once you book a remittance on Everest Express®, we
keep you informed on the status of your remittance through
regular email updates and reminders. The various status
displays and their explanation is as follows:
- Bank Account under Verification: This means that
we have this process in place to verify new customer and
their new bank accounts. The instruction to do so will
be emailed to you on signing up with Everest Express®.
- Awaiting Clearance: This means that we have received your
Online Transfer instruction and it is in the banking
channels for clearing.
- Funds Cleared: This means that your Online Transfer
instruction has been cleared, or your funds have been
dispatched to your beneficiary.
- Money Delivered: This means that the payment has been
made to your beneficiary account and you can view the
delivery details against your Remittance Reference
Number.
Of course, apart from regular email updates from Everest Express®, you can keep yourself updated on the
status by using "Status Tracker" at Everest Express®.
All you have to do is click on your RTRN number.

13. Is there a limit on the number of beneficiaries that you
can remit money to in Nepal?
No. You can send the money to as many people as you wish.
Everest Express® has an Address Book tool where you
can enter and store your beneficiaries' details.

What is the exchange rate applied on your remittance?
The exchange rate applicable to your remittance is based on
the rate, prevailing at 10 AM Kathmandu, Nepal Time, on the
day that your funds are converted to Nepalese Currency
Rupees(NPR). Exchange Rate for AUD in NPR is a controlling
factor of Nepal Rastra Bank (Central Bank of Nepal). Everest Express® is authorized to schedule its own Exchange
Rate in compliance with Kumari Bank and remit distribution
on that Exchange rate. In case there is highly fluctuation
in exchange rate of Nepal Rastra Bank Everest Express® is authorized to use the Rate which-so-ever is lower
and apply recalculation on the amount that your recipient
gets NPR in Nepal. This is exercised utmost to lower the
risk of loss in exchange rates due to fluctuation in Nepal.
